Help the Salukis BLACK OUT CANCER

On September 17, 2016 at 6:00 PM, the Southern Illinois Salukis football team will be on the field wearing special black Under Armour jerseys for the Salukis Blackout Cancer game. The game is a way for Saluki fans across the country and people in the community get involved in helping the southern Illinois football team raise funds to continue the work of the SIH Cancer Institute which opened in March 2015. Cancer patients throughout southern Illinois are able to receive quality cancer care while staying close to family and friends. You can make all the difference!

Join the SIH Foundation and Salukis to support this truly unique event.

Story Behind the Jersey

Charles Helleny"I lost my wife to Cancer in 1990 at the young age of 44.  She was an extraordinary person who loved life and the high school students she taught and advised.  I feel these are donations toward a cure in her honor and memory."Charles Helleny
